Welsh Language Charter

The ‘Criw Cymraeg’ is a committee of Key Stage 2 children who feel passionate about the Welsh language. Our aim is to receive the Silver Siarter Iaith award. The Welsh Ambassadors meet to discuss ideas on how to reach the goal.

Our intention and hope is that every child is able to, and chooses to speak Welsh of a good quality in every aspect of the school’s life, and takes pride in the Welsh language, culture and traditions.

Speaking two languages opens doors to a much more varied community, world of work and social life. Having two languages means twice the choice.
