Safeguarding

As a school we are committed to ensuring the safety of all pupils and staff.  Entrances are locked and to gain access there is a key code entry system.  Any visitor that accesses the building is met by a key member of staff and is escorted to the appropriate place. The school holds a visitor log to keep a  record  of all visits to the school.  All staff have received first aid training.  If an accident occurs in the school, then the school  sends accident slips home to parents, advising them if any medical attention is required.  An accident  log is maintained.  The  school complies with all LEA procedures regarding reporting incidents on the school premises.

CHILD PROTECTION

We recognise our moral and statutoryresponsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils.  We will endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment, where children are respected and valued.  We will be alert to signs of abuse and maltreatment and will follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.
